This year’s Winter Swell is crafted for comfort, warmth, and good cheer. We’ve brought together two exceptional coffees — a rich, pulped natural from Brazil and a vibrant, washed lot from Peru — to create a smooth and satisfying cup with layers of character.
The result? A brew that opens with a bright, fruity sweetness, settles into soft milk chocolate and caramel through the middle, and finishes with a lively raspberry zing.
Our Brazilian component comes from Sitio Arcino in the hills of Alto Providência, Venda Nova do Imigrante. This family-run farm, established in 1979 by Arcino Filete and his wife Emília, is now in its third generation of coffee production, overseen by their sons Gilcimar and Fabrício. Their approach balances tradition with quality-focused techniques, bringing out the creamy body and comforting chocolate notes we love in this cup.
From the highlands of Cajamarca, Peru, comes a bold and juicy washed lot, carefully curated by Rony Lavan — a passionate cupper and the driving force behind Lima Coffees. Rony has built his career identifying exceptional microlots from small producers and is recognised as a leading voice in Peru’s growing speciality scene. As president of Lima Coffees, and with a Cup of Excellence win under his belt, Rony’s coffees are helping put Peru firmly on the international map.
